Overview

The Core Banking Support Analyst is responsible for providing end-user support services on various Core Banking and related applications and responding to technical requests of a complex nature.   

Responsibilities

Works on implementing the Bank’s Core Banking applications and performs application administration.  Works with and meets with business units to understand new business needs on any new application request to overview from requirements identification, selection, design, development, configuration and implementation.  Provides Core Banking application support on production, monitoring operational jobs and performing daily tasks required to ensure successful completion and processing.   Responds to incidents and service requests related to the assigned applications or functions being supported.   Also, performs software application administration duties such as setting up and maintaining system parameters, providing, or modifying user access, implementing software patches and upgrades.  Assists with system upgrades for assigned applications.  Works as a liaison between business units and application programmers.  Develops and maintains documentation of IT operational procedures, system/application configuration, system environment diagram, maintenance, and upgrades as necessary to support banking system operations.

Qualifications

  • A. Degree or equivalent and five (5) years of IT work experience or Bank Operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have five (5) years of working experience with integrated banking applications; deposits, lending, Teller and Wires applications.
  • Working knowledge on query writing using Query Tools is required.
  • Must have excellent knowledge in Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills (Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; may be needed after hours and/or weekends.
  • Knowledge of Silverlake, Teller, Argo, Passport, Synergy report and imaging system is preferred.
